From 1925 - until 1939, the St George Dragons played their home-games at the venue. The club had it's biggest win (and NRL premiership record) at the ground - winning 91-6 against the Canterbury Bulldogs on 11 May 1935. Les Griffin holds two other records for the club (coincidentally held at the ground) - Most Points in a Match (36 points - on 11 May 1935) and Most Goals in a Match (15 goals, on 11 May 1935). For the 1940 season, St. George left Earl Park, moving back to Hurstville Oval[2].
